What is Compassion?
In responce to the Great Commission, Compassion International exist as an advocate for children, to release them from their spiritual, economic, social, and physical poverty and enable them to become responsible and fulfilled Christian Adults.

1 John 3:16-19
16. Hereby perceive we the love of God, because he laid down his life for us: and we ought to lay down our lives for the brethren.
17. But whoso hath this world's good, and seeth his brother have need, and shutteth up his bowels of compassion from him, how dwelleth the love of God in him?
18. My little children, let us not love in word, neither in tongue; but in deed and in truth.
19. And hereby we know that we are of the truth, and shall assure our hearts before him.
Acts 20:35
35. I have shewed you all things, how that so labouring ye ought to support the weak, and to remember the words of the Lord Jesus, how he said, It is more blessed to give than to receive.

I am a volunteer with Compassion International I designed this page to let you know what Compassion is about... I and my Ministry (Chat4Youth) have been sponsoring a child through Compassion since 2000 and it has been a true blessing to me to see the letters and photos that my sponsored child sends.
